Daniel Bayfield

Chief Executive Officer

Daniel Bayfield is the Chief Executive Officer of Veracity, leading the business through its next phase of growth as part of Lyra Technology Group. 

Daniel brings decades of leadership experience across technology and managed services, business growth, client strategy, and partner ecosystems. Prior to joining Veracity, Daniel held executive leadership roles across the mid-market IT services sector where he led national growth initiatives and worked closely with clients, partners and technical teams to deliver growth across complex and evolving technology environments. 

Daniel also brings deep experience supporting not-for-profit organisations, with a strong understanding of the sector’s operating realities, service priorities and need for practical, sustainable technology solutions. 

Passionate about investing in people and developing high-performing teams, Daniel is focused on building on Veracity’s strong foundations, deepening client partnerships, and leading the business through its next phase of growth as it continues to deliver transformative business and technology outcomes. 

Bill Owens

Founder

Bill Owens is the Founder of Veracity and remains actively involved in the business, supporting value creation, strategic client relationships, and Veracity’s ongoing contribution to the technology sector. 

Bill is passionate about integrating IT and humanity, using technology to enhance businesses, strengthen communities, and improve the lives of the people who lead and work within them. 

With decades of experience in global business consulting and technology, Bill brings deep expertise across board governance, strategy development, risk management, financial management, business transformation and data governance.

He serves as Chair of Relationships Australia Queensland, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Divisional Council and the QUT Finance and Planning Committee. Bill also contributes to the Tech Council of Australia (TCA), including participation in its AI, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Roundtables. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a graduate of the MIT Graduate Program, holds a Graduate Diploma of Business Administration from QUT, and an Honours degree from the University of Queensland. 

Chris Greathead

Incoming Chief Operating Officer

Chris Greathead is Veracity’s incoming Chief Operating Officer, responsible for driving operational performance, service excellence and the continued evolution of Veracity’s delivery capability. 

With more than a decade at Veracity, Chris brings an unmatched depth of experience across the business. He has worked closely with our clients, led major technology transformation projects, directed Veracity’s Service Desk, and most recently served as General Manager, Consultancy Services. Across these roles, Chris has developed a deep, practical understanding of Veracity’s people, clients, partners, systems and services. 

Chris has supported clients across the arts, not-for-profit, clubs and member-based organisations, government and local business sectors. He is known for bringing structure to complex environments, translating business priorities into practical technology outcomes, and balancing delivery, risk, change, and operational stability. As Chief Operating Officer, Chris is focused on driving service excellence, providing strong team leadership, and ensuring Veracity continues to deliver high-quality, business-led technology solutions to our clients and communities as it enters its next phase of growth. 

Chris also plays an active role in the sector and represents Veracity as the Technology Industry Expert at Queensland Leaders. 

Subi Chowdhury

General Manager - Service Delivery

Subi Chowdhury leads Veracity’s Service Delivery team with a strong focus on reliability, security and consistency for our clients. He is committed to building technology environments that are stable, well governed, and designed to support business operations without disruption. Subi takes a practical, human-centred approach to service delivery, ensuring technical decisions remove unnecessary complexity and align to client needs and long-term sustainability. 

With over 20 years of experience delivering enterprise scale technology solutions, Subi brings deep expertise across infrastructure modernisation, cloud platforms, end user computing and cybersecurity. He is a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, recognised for translating complex requirements into robust and scalable solutions. Subi holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from Queensland University of Technology, supported by extensive industry certifications across Microsoft, VMware, Cisco and security technologies.
