The Challenge

As one of Australia’s premier cultural institutions, QSO was facing a significant challenge. Its ageing ICT platform was limiting the organisation’s ability to operate effectively and support its ambitious vision for the future. QSO’s ICT platform was increasingly inaccessible to staff, inefficient, and proving costly to maintain.

To enable QSO’s mission of sharing great music across Queensland, a transformative approach to technology was required to modernise its ICT infrastructure to:

  • Facilitate greater collaboration across various teams, from musicians to administrative staff, enabling them to work more efficiently and seamlessly.
  • Ensure accessibility for staff, audiences and other stakeholders, regardless of location or device
  • Enhance security and data protection in a changing regulatory environment to safeguard sensitive information, critical to maintaining QSO’s reputation and trust with audiences, donors, and partners.

The Opportunity

Veracity saw an exciting opportunity to work with QSO to help them achieve their vision of becoming a future-focused, customer-centric performing arts organisation. The primary goal was to modernise QSO’s ICT platform, providing a solid foundation for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth.

Our approach began with a comprehensive ICT Health Check, which gave us a deep understanding of QSO’s existing environment and its limitations. From there, we worked closely with QSO’s leadership team to define the strategic direction and created a Three-Year ICT Roadmap that outlined the steps necessary to bring their platform into alignment with their long-term goals.

The opportunity was clear:
